Here are some notable facts about the Pistons in the NBA draft:

■The Pistons have not had the No. 1 overall pick in the draft since 1970, when they took Bob Lanier from St. Bonaventure. The Pistons have had top-three picks three times since. They took Isiah Thomas from Indiana second in 1981, Grant Hill from Duke third in 1994 and Darko Milicic from Serbia second in 2003.

■The Pistons have not drafted a foreign player since 2009, when they took Jonas Jerebko of Sweden in the second round, No. 39 overall.

■In last yearís draft, the Pistons took shooting guard Kentavious Caldwell-Pope from Georgia with their first-round pick, No. 8 overall. Their second-round picks were forward Tony Mitchell from North Texas and guard Peyton Siva from Louisville.
