Three Detroit residents have been charged with beating a 57-year-old man to death last week at his home on the city’s west side.
Mary Pye, 20, Parada Carson, 26, and Diago Jones, 23, all of Detroit, have been charged in connection with the death of Louis Herman Morris on June 24 in the 9900 block of Hartwell.
Pye, Carson and Jones are charged with first-degree murder, second-degree murder and manslaughter .
Carson and Jones also are charged with home invasion.
Another male suspect was not charged because investigators determined there was insufficient evidence that he committed a crime.
