Southfield police looking for female bank robber

Southfield Police seek help in identifying afemale bank robber with crooked teeth who held up a Comerica branch Tuesday afternoon.

The woman entered the bank at 2902 Telegraph Road about 1:50 p.m. and approached a teller with a note: "I have a gun large bills."

The teller was attempting to give the woman an unknown amount of cash from a drawer when the suspect warned: "Hurry up, I have a gun," according to police.

The suspect, a heavy built, dark-complexioned woman was described as in her mid-30s, about 5-foot-6 and 180 pounds.

She wore a black wig with gold streaks in it, sunglasses and was dressed in a red shirt with short sleeves, blue jeans with a gold design embossed on the rear pockets and carrying a black and gold purse.
