Kentavious Caldwell-Pope on Pistons summer league roster; games begin Saturday

Second-year guard Kentavious Caldwell-Pope is among the 15 players on the Pistons’ summer league roster. The team will play a five-game schedule from Saturday, July 5 through Friday, July 11 in Orlando, Fla.

Pistons second-round pick Spencer Dinwiddie is on the roster but will not participate in the games as he continues to rehab from a torn left ACL suffered in January.

The Orlando summer league will include 10 teams and the Pistons will play Houston, Memphis, Miami, Boston and one other team to be determined. All games will be on NBATV and can also be viewed by signing up at nba.com/summerleaguelive.

Pistons assistants Bob Beyer, Brendan Malone and Charles Klask will coach the team, with Beyer serving as head coach.
