The Tigers and Cubs are teaming up to try to get pitcher Rick Porcello and first baseman Anthony Rizzo elected to the All-Star Game in the Final Vote.
Fans can vote for Porcello and Rizzo online at tigers.com/vote or cubs.com/vote, or text A3 for Porcello and N4 for Rizzo to 89269.
Porcello started for the Tigers Sunday night in their game against the Rays. He is 11-4 with a 3.12 ERA and was working on a 25-inning scoreless streak entering Sundays game. He has pitched back-to-back complete-game shutouts.
One player from each league will be added to the All-Star Game roster on the Final Vote.
