The Lions on Thursday announced their schedule for training camp, which begins in less than three weeks.
Veterans will report July 27, and camp will open on July 28 with the majority of practices at team headquarters in Allen Park.
The Aug. 1 practice is the first open to the public. Most practices, including Aug. 1, will be at the Lionsí Allen Park outdoor facility, which can accommodate about 1,500 people on a first-come, first-served basis. Gates open 30 minutes before each session.
The other open sessions are Aug. 2, 4-7, 11 and 13. Practice begins at varied times, ranging from 8:30 a.m. until 7:30 p.m. See the list below.
Season-ticket holders, suite holders and club seat members will receive invitations for the practices on July 28 and 29.
