About 120 job-seekers attended Tuesday’s Hiring Our Heroes job fair for veterans and military spouses in Southfield.

While it’s unknown if anyone earned jobs on the spot, attendees were able to give their resumes to about 120 employers, including Detroit’s Big Three automakers, Verizon, Michigan State Police and others.

More than 1,500 companies have hired 23,000 veterans and military spouses since Hiring Our Heroes began in March 2011.
