Authorities have released the identity of a man believed to have been electrocuted in a manhole on the city’s west side.

The body of Charles Glenn, 46, of Detroit, was discovered Wednesday night on Oregon near Interstate 96, between Joy and Grand River.

A cause of death was pending Friday, said Mary Mazur, spokeswoman for the Wayne County Medical Examiner’s Office.

Police believe Glenn was electrocuted. Tools were reportedly found next to the manhole.
