The Tigersí blockbuster trade to land David Price on Thursday has improved their odds of winning the World Series, according to one online oddsmaker.

MyTopSportsbooks.comís latest odds have the Tigers moving from a 6-to-1 favorite to win it all to 5-to-1. That puts the Tigers in a tie with the Dodgers, who dropped from 9-to-2.

The Athletics, who picked up pitcher Jon Lester in a trade Thursday, remain the favorite to win the World Series at 4-to-1 odds. The Boston Red Sox, who dealt Lester and other stars, were among the teams taking the biggest drop, falling from 50-to-1 to 100-to-1 odds. World Series odds
