Lansing — Authorities say human remains found near a Lansing freeway have been identified as those of a 33-year-old man missing since June.
The Lansing State Journal and MLive.com report police confirmed Monday that the body of Mark Luplow of Lansing was found last week. The discovery near U.S. 127 was made Friday, a day after a Michigan State University research student stumbled upon personal items in the area.
Police say foul play isn’t suspected. An autopsy was performed Saturday but police say a cause of death hasn’t yet been determined.
