DETROIT IMPROV FESTIVAL

This improvisational comedy festival kicked off earlier in the week and runs through Sunday with free and ticketed events at a variety of Ferndale venues. Some highlights are Saturday at the Rust Belt Market, 22801 Woodward. The 8 p.m. show features improv troupes Gayle from Brooklyn, N.Y., Ferndale’s Forever Fifteen and the 313, which features Detroit-bred actors who now live in Los Angeles.
