Full-service grocery stores -- minimum 10,000 square-feet, serving fresh meats and produce and containing a deli counter -- can be found throughout Detroit, which some say should put to rest the myth that the city is a "food desert." A Detroit News analysis found 74 grocers doing business within the city's borders.
