Rutherford fights for custody

Kelly Rutherford,former star of “Gossip Girl,” is claiming her children are being deported illegally by a renegade judge who has ordered they live in France with their father, and according to reports by TMZ.com, she plans to break the law by keeping her kids here in the U.S. The bitter custody battle is with ex-husband Daniel Giersch, who lives in France and received primary custody of their children, ages 5 and 7, from an L.A. County Superior Court judge.

Wendy Williams turns 50

Daytime syndicated talk show host Wendy Williams is embracing turning 50. According to people.com, Williams, who hit the Big 50 July 18, says, “I’ve still got all my te­eth, and 90 percent of the time nothing hurts when I wake up in the morning. It’s not like the 1930s version of 50. I’ve got a whole other chapter of life to go.” Now eligible for an AARP card, she adds, “I feel good. No, I feel I’m just getting started.”

Kasem's body still on the move

He may have died nearly two months ago, but Casey
Kasem’s body is on the move again, and this time it’s thousands of miles away. Sources are telling TMZ.com that Jean Kasem “is making arrangements to have the body flown to Europe — possibly Oslo, Norway.” Jean is being investigated by the Santa Monica Police Dept. for elder abuse, following a complaint filed by one of Casey’s daughters, alleging Casey developed a deadly infection because Jean took him on a multi-state road trip to prevent family members from seeing him.

Hopelessly devoted to Sandy

Olivia Newton-John’sbad girl persona, the leather-clad Sandy at the end of the 1978 hit musical “Grease,” has been immortalized in wax. Madame Tussauds unveiled the striking figure at the Flamingo Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas, where the Australian singer is in residency, hellomagazine.com reported. The wax Sandy will eventually be moved to Madame Tussauds in Hollywood. In attendance at the unveiling, Newton-John, 65, snapped a few selfies with her famous character. “Such an honor to have my own Madame Tussaud “Sandy” fig­ure!” Newton-John wrote on her Twitter and Facebook pages.

J. Lo. and Posey are reunited

It’s been 12 years since Jennifer Lopez and “Teen Wolf” star Tyler Posey co-starred in the 2002 movie “Maid In Manhattan,” about a hotel maid who falls in love with a politician guest. TMZ.com reports, the two, who’ve aged quite well, were reunited at the 2014 Teen Choice Awards in Los Angeles Sunday night. They appeared on stage together during the ceremony, where Tyler, now 22, suggested a way for them to work together again. “I know we haven’t seen each other since ‘Maid in Manhattan,’ which was forever ago. But I thought that maybe if you needed a backup dancer, I’d fit. What do you think.” He then broke into some awkward dance moves, and J. Lo responded by saying, “If I say yes, will you stop?” The two later posed together backstage for photos.
