NASCAR returning to MIS in June and August next year

NASCAR weekends at Michigan International Speedway in 2015 will be June 12-14 and Aug. 14-16.

During the first weekend, there will be an ARCA race June 12, a Nationwide Series race June 13 and the Sprint Cup Series Quicken Loans 400 on June 14. The Sprint Cup race will be on Fox Sports 1.

On the second weekend, the Camping World Truck Series race will be Aug. 15 followed by the Sprint Cup main event Aug. 16 (NBC Sports Network).

The Sprint Cup season will open with the Daytona 500 on Feb. 22. Another schedule highlight is the return of NASCAR to Darlington Raceway over its traditional Labor Day weekend.
