Royal Oak police searching for bank robber suspect

Royal Oak Police are seeking a man who robbed a Fifth Third Bank on Woodward Avenue Saturday morning.

The suspect, described as a medium-dark complexioned man, about six-foot, two inches tall and wearing a goatee and garden gloves, passed a bank teller a note about 10:30 a.m. demanding cash and implying he had a gun.

The man, who appeared in his mid-30s, and wore sunglasses, a Nike t-shirt and a baseball cap, fled the bank with an undisclosed amount of cash.
