Director of the gallery Melannie Chard, left, 37, of Fenton, and WSU Art Historian student Cassie Clark, 25, of Detroit, look at S. Kay Young images with "Huron Prayers" in the background, right, and a Leslie Ann Pilling dress called, "Full Length Riplette," left.
XXXXThe Galerie Camille presents “Water Poems: A Union of Art and Fashion,” with Jon Strand’s pointillist paintings, S. Kay Young’s photographs that are altered in Photoshop and Leslie Ann Pilling’s dresses. Strand’s paintings are made of 100s of thousands of dots that take 1,000 hours to paint, while Leslie Ann Pilling’s dresses are interpretations of Jon’s and Kay’s work where she created textiles and constructed the pieces in Detroit, Friday afternoon, September 23, 2016.
