ARTIST RENDERING -- Contemporary architecture complements the restored historic mansions within the existing Brush Park Historic District on Alfred Street in Detroit. Two to four bedroom townhomes on the left feature either cream brick or dark brown exteriors with large windows designed by Studio Dwell in Chicago, Illinois. On the opposite side of the street, flanked by two historic mansions, are three plus-story townhomes designed by Hamilton Anderson Associates of Detroit. The three remaining historic mansions will be restored and renovated by Christian Hurttienne Architects (CHA) of Grosse Pointe Park, Michigan. CHA already restored the Ransom Gillis House in collaboration with Quicken Loans, Brush Park Development Company and HGTV.
