New WGPR-TV museum to open on MLK day

Joe Spencer, served as program director for WGPR-FM and TV 62 1981-94 talks about his history and experiences with the station. On Jan. 16 (MLK Day), a new museum honoring to the first African-American TV station, WGPR-TV, is opening on Jefferson. The museum is called the William V. Banks Broadcast Museum & Media Center in honor of the station's founder., Detroit, Mi. January 15, 2017.
