    Tom Izzo says this Michigan State team is among his best

    Before last season, Michigan State was picked No. 2 in the nation and seemed like a sure bet to reach its third straight Final Four and win its seventh Big Ten championship under Tom Izzo. Five months later, that team was exiting the NCAA Tournament after only one game and finished the season with 19 wins.

    Purdue dismisses Barlow, suspends Byrd ahead of game vs. MSU

    Guard D.J. Byrd was arrested Thursday night for public intoxication, the Journal and Courier of Lafayette, Ind., reported. The paper added that teammate Kelsey Barlow was involved in the incident, according to police.
