My gynecologist wants me to do Kegel exercises and be fitted with a pessary. He doesn't want to do surgery. Dolls, auction benefit HIV/AIDScharities

An artistic undertaking Saturday in Royal Oak will benefit Steppin' Out, the nonprofit behind the AIDS Walk Detroit, and Stitches -- A Doll Project. The latter collects dolls crafted by women living with HIV/AIDS. The event will display some of the dolls and include a silent auction of locally produced art and gifts as well as a screening of the documentary based on the project, "No Day Promised."
