    No night football game at U-M in 2012, but don’t count out 2013

    Michigan’s home schedule this fall isn’t nearly as appealing as it was this past season, but athletic director Dave Brandon expects another night game at The Big House the following year — possibly against Notre Dame again.

    Meyer, appearing on Cleveland’s 92.3 on Thursday, was asked about the Ohio State schedule in the team meeting room that lists every opponent’s name except Michigan. Instead it reads: That team up north.

    Michigan bounces back to beat Nebraska, stays in Big Ten hunt

    Michigan took advantage of its first-ever conference meeting with the Cornhuskers, leading the entire way in a 62-46 victory on Wednesday night at the Devaney Center. Zack Novak had 14 points and Stu Douglass 13.

    Zack Novak reaches 1,000 points in Michigan victory

    Novak reached the 1,000-point career mark early in the first half against Nebraska. He entered the game needing six points to hit the mark and reached it quickly, scoring the first six of the game on a pair of 3-pointers.

    Tim Hardaway Jr. fights slump at pivotal part of Michigan’s season

    Hardaway’s father, Tim Sr., is a scout for the NBA’s Miami Heat and sees a difference in the way Michigan is playing this season. "As a team, they’ve gotten out of their offense and not running it the way they used to," Hardaway Sr. said.

    Report: Michigan receiver Junior Hemingway’s jewelry stolen in South Carolina

    The South Carolina home of Kenneth Hemingway, the father of former Michigan receiver Junior Hemingway, was burglarized, and some of Junior’s football-related gifts were stolen, according to a report.

    Michigan football sells out nearly 25,000-ticket allotment for Alabama game

    The school announced Tuesday it has sold nearly 25,000 tickets to the game against the national champions on Sept. 1 at Cowboys Stadium in Arlington, Texas.

    Reports: Junior tight end Khalid Hill commits to Michigan’s 2013 class

    Hill, of Detroit Crockett, became U-M's third commitment for the 2013 class, Scout.com and ESPN.com reported Monday afternoon.

    After Michigan State lost at Michigan a couple of weeks ago, Green guaranteed that his team would not lose to Michigan when the teams met again in East Lansing. Needless to say, it was on the Spartans' senior to produce.

    While the Spartans dominated on the boards, their game plan wasn’t about dominating the Wolverines in rebounding. It centered more on stopping Michigan’s pick-and-roll plays spearheaded by Burke.
