This week, Howes says Detroit’s automakers are finding more to President Donald Trump than his Twitter bashing of their Mexican connections. In exchange for corporate tax cuts and regulatory reform, he’d like to see more cars and trucks built in the United States – a trade-off the industry could make if the dollars saved total more than those spent.
