Minneapolis-based Target Corp. announced Tuesday it will close 11 stores in the United States by February, including three locations in Michigan. The Target store at Northland Center in Southfield will close, along with the store in Bay City and another in Monroe.

The discount store operator has 1,801 stores in the United States and 133 in Canada.
