Here’s a great way to perk up your Saturday.

The Museum of Contemporary Art Detroit will bring its “Mobile Homestead,” a kitschy mock-up of renegade artist Mike Kelley’s Westland childhood home on wheels, to Eastern Market (on Alfred Streeet), Clark Park and Belle Isle.

September is National Library Card Month — who knew? — and the tour is designed to promote reading.

Visitors will be able to peruse a unique collection of books donated to MOCAD, get a card to the Detroit Public Library, and chow down on free donuts and apple cider. You can even register to vote and enjoy pop-up musical performances.

To find out when the tour’s going where, follow it on Twitter at @MOCAD.
