The culinary landscape of major avenues like Woodward is always evolving. So while you’re cruising around this weekend, take note of what’s new.

Of course, there are classic car culture spots like Hunter House Hamburgers in Birmingham, Imperial in Ferndale and Vinsetta Garage in Berkley. If you’re looking for a new spot to fuel yourself up, here are a few between Ferndale and Pontiac that will be open to the public on Saturday.

The Detroit Bubble Tea Company: Cool down with a sweet treat from this very new Ferndale business. Choose your base (slushie, iced tea, milk tea or smoothie) and then add flavors like lemonade, cotton candy, strawberry and taro. Then choose your bubbles in three different textures: tapioca, popping pearls or jellies. Detroit Bubble Tea Company also sells coffee and regular tea, gluten-free macaroons and vegan cupcakes. 22821 Woodward, Ferndale. (248) 239-1131.

Firehouse Subs:This is only the second summer for Berkley sandwich shop Firehouse Subs. This sub chain was founded by firemen and aims to raise funds for first responders across the country. 28557 Woodward, Berkley. (248) 541-3473.

MotorCity Street Beats: MotorCity Casino Hotel is taking over the Shell gas station on Woodward with live music and the debut of its new food truck. The truck serves lobster mac ‘n’ cheese, Belgian fries, blue corn-dusted shrimp tacos and more. Find it 5-9 p.m. Fri. and 10 a.m.-9 p.m. Sat. at 31786 Woodward, Royal Oak.

Kalamata Greek Grill:The Woodward location of this two-restaurant chain opened two years ago in Royal Oak. The cafe specializes in build-your-own Greek dishes and is a dip-lover’s dream with nine kinds of sauces, including Greek barbeque and zesty feta. 32528 Woodward, Royal Oak. (248) 291-6187.

Moe’s Southwest Grill:On the west side of Woodward in Royal Oak, Mexican food chain Moe’s has options for all diets, including vegetarian and kids menus. 32867 Woodward, Royal Oak. (248) 268-4369.

Billy Sims Barbeque: The man himself, former Detroit Lion and Heisman Trophy-winner Billy Sims, will be at the Royal Oak location of his fast-casual barbeque chain on Saturday. He’ll greet Dream Cruisers and sign autographs from 2-6 p.m. 32980 Woodward, Royal Oak. (248) 439-2209.

Bill’s:Located where Fox & Hounds Restaurant once was, this upscale spot opened last summer as part of the Roberts Restaurant Group, which also includes Town Tavern in Royal Oak, Beverly Hills Grill, Cafe ML and more. Look for the sharp navy blue awning with gold lettering on the east side of Woodward in Bloomfield Hills. The dinner menu at Bill’s is packed with classic entrees like pasta, steak, veal piccata, meatballs, nicoise salad and more. There’s also a weekend brunch menu that includes a raw bar featuring caviar pie, oysters, crab and shrimp. Reservations accepted. 39556 Woodward, Bloomfield Hills. (248) 646-9000.
