The meat-centric, chef-driven spot will open in the fall on the first floor of the Crystal Loft Building at Woodward and Watson
Restaurant and craft cocktail lounge Grey Ghost will open this fall in a 2,500-square foot space on the first floor of the Crystal Lofts at 47 E. Watson at Woodward.
The project was announced in November, but the exact location was only revealed until this week.
Grey Ghost will be helmed by twin brothers and Metro Detroit natives John and David Vermiglio, with John on board as a chef along with chef Josef Giacomino. A fourth partner, Will Lee, will oversee the cocktail program.
The restaurant, which is named after the legend of a rum-running pirate on the Detroit River, will seat 80.
Chefs Vermiglio and Giaomino have been hosting pop-up dinners around town since the announcement last fall. Each dinner features the products of a specific animal such as cow or goat.
