Two batches of Angry Orchard hard cider have been recalled after consumers reported finding broken and overflowing bottles.

Tuesday's voluntary recall affects Angry Orchard Crisp Apple Hard Cider cases with 12-ounce and 24-ounce bottles, 12-packs, and six-packs, brewed on June 15 and June 29, company officials said in a press release Thursday.

The cider appears to show signs of re-fermentation in the bottle, which could result in increased carbonation levels, and in some instances, bottles may overflow when opened or burst under increased pressure.
