The singer-songwriter will perform at the Lions’ home on September 8; tickets go on sale Feb. 16
Ed Sheeran is plus-sizing his act. The singer-songwriter will perform at Ford Field on September 8, venue officials announced Tuesday, part of a round of stadium shows that mark Sheeran’s biggest tour to date.
Tickets for the Ford Field concert, $119.50, $89.50, $69.50 and $39.50, go on sale at 10 a.m. Feb. 16, with pre-sales beginning at 10 a.m. Feb. 12.
In addition to Ford Field, Sheeran is also playing stadiums in San Francisco, Pittsburth, Chicago, Nashville, Milwaukee and more.
Sheeran isn’t a total stranger to stadiums, or even Ford Field: He played the Lions’ home in 2013 as an opener for Taylor Swift.
Sheeran’s most recent Detroit concert was a September show at Little Caesars Arena.
