Rumors buzz of a ‘She’s All That’ remake
As 1990s nostalgia continues to run wild, rumors are swirling that Weinstein Company and Miramax are in talks to bring back the teen flick “She’s All That.” The original often-spoofed film came out in 1999 and starred Freddie Prinze Jr. and Rachael Leigh Cook in a story about a jock who makes a bet that he can turn a nerdy girl into prom queen. Matthew Lillard, Kevin Pollack and the late Paul Walker were also in the movie, which had a soundtrack that included songs by super ’90s artists like Liz Phair, Jurassic 5, Superdrag, The Afghan Whigs, Fatboy Slim and (from the iconic scene when Cooke walks down the stairs) “Kiss Me” by Sixpence None the Richer.
