K. Michelle cancels tour with Azealia Banks

Singer K. Michelle has canceled her upcoming tour with rapper Azealia Banks, including their Sept. 18 date at the Fox Theatre. K. Michelle stated on Instagram that she’s nixing the tour due to being overexerted. She also tries to nip any rumors in the bud. “There is absolutely no drama between me and Azealia. We have a mutual respect for each other as women and artists. I can’t wait to get in the studio with her and for you all to hear what she’s been working on. Secondly, it wasn’t low ticket sales. Due to such an overwhelming response with this tour there have been conversations about adding a second show in various cities.” The clarification comes after Banks tweeted that K. Michelle’s team sent her an email saying she was going to be “unavailable.” Banks also tweeted that she would have new tour dates posted soon. Tickets purchased by phone or online will be automatically refunded, otherwise refunds are available at the point of purchase.
