Is Jimmy Fallon an excessive party boy?
After three injuries in four months — the most recent involving a broken bottle of Jagermeister — rumors are beginning to rumble that “Tonight Show” host JimmyFallon may have a drinking problem. Page Six has reported multiple Fallon sightings in New York City bars, and the New York Post anonymously quoted a Manhattan bartender who has served Fallon often, who says everything said about his behavior is true. “He likes to hang out and be the life of any party,” the bartender said. Another anonymous NY Post source, an NBC insider, downplayed the gossip and says Fallon is just “a big kid.” “He likes to have a good time. His show takes a lot of work: He has to learn songs and dances,” the source said, implying that it would be hard to do if he were drunk all the time. A brief, official statement from NBC’s says “Jimmy Fallon is a highly valued member of the NBC family who is both a tireless worker and an extraordinarily gifted performer.”
