Big Sean talks Eminem cameo
Big Sean shares a verse on the remix of his friend Mike Posner’s “Buried in Detroit,” where he talks about bringing Eminem out on stage during his concert last year at Joe Louis Arena. “The young Detroit legend, I swear I got the city inspired/ and brought Em out too just to solidify it,” Sean raps on the track, which is included on Posner’s “Alone, At Night,” which is due out May 6. Later, Sean talks about his stature in Detroit. “Thanksgiving day parade, I got carried through the city, and after that I hope I get married in the city/ and after that I hope I get buried in the city, even when I’m gone you gon’ still hear me through the city.” Sean recently released “Twenty88,” a joint project with Jhene Aiko, and has teased online that he has more new material on the way.
Lopez talks ‘Live’ gig
The rumor mill says dimple-cheeked Mario Lopez could be in line to replace Michael Strahan after he exits “Live With Kelly and Michael,” and Lopez kind-of sort-of addressed the topic while sitting down with Ellen DeGeneres this week. The former “Saved by the Bell” star acted bashful when DeGeneres brought up the topic and said he’s looking forward to guest hosting the show in the near future. When DeGeneres pressed him on if he’s in line to take over for Strahan, he said he had to talk about the move with higher-ups. “Well, I got to go over everything with Mrs. Lopez. She’s the real boss of the house, so we’ll see what she has to say about that,” he said. Strahan’s last day on “Live” is May 13.
