Janet Jackson delivers baby boy

Janet Jackson and husband Wissam Al Mana welcomed their first child, Eissa Al Mana on Tuesday. The baby boy was born after a “stress-free, healthy delivery,” Jackson’s rep told People magazine, adding that the 50-year-old star is “resting comfortably.” Jackson and Al Mana, a businessman, married in 2012. Jackson announced her pregnancy, sort of, in the spring when she postponed her Unbreakable World Tour. “We’re in the second leg of the tour, and there actually has been a sudden change,” Jackson said in a video posted to Twitter in April. “I thought it was important that you be the first to know. My husband and I are planning a family ... so I’m going to have to delay the tour.”

Megyn Kelly is leaving Fox News for NBC

One of Fox News’ biggest stars, Megyn Kelly is leaving the network to join NBC, according to insiders who were briefed on the negotiations Tuesday, the New York Times reports. Kelly was reportedly offered a triple role at NBC, including hosting her own daytime news and talk show. She’ll also anchor an in-depth Sunday night news show and participate in NBC’s political and other big-event coverage. Kelly’s star has risen since joining Fox News 12 years ago and is the cable news’ second-most watched host, just behind Fox’s Bill O’Reilly. It’s unclear when her new role at NBC will begin, as Kelly’s contract with Fox is not up until the summer.

The reality star posted photos on Instagram from her security camera of the trespassers and another of her chasing after them a weapon. “I have a right to feel safe in my home and to protect myself,” she posted on Instagram. Moore is offering a $1,000 reward for anyone who can identify the trespassers. “It is never OK to violate anyone this way. It is not funny. Men showing up at your door is an immediate threat. Friends and family weigh on on Carrie Fisher’s death

Carrie Fisher’s daughter, Billie Lourd, made her first public statement since the death of her mother and grandmother, Debbie Reynolds, last week. Lourd, 24, posted a photo of herself as a child with Fisher and Reynolds to Instagram. “Receiving all of your prayers and kind words over the past week has given me strength during a time I thought strength could not exist,” she wrote. “There are no words to express how much I will miss my Abadaba and my one and only Momby. Your love and support means the world to me.” The Hollywood Reporter on Monday published a guest column from Fisher’s “Star Wars” co-star Mark Hamill. He says he was “in awe” of Fisher and said that making her laugh was “always a badge of honor.” “When you were in her good graces, you couldn’t have more fun with any person on the planet. She was able to make you feel like you were the most important thing in her life. I think that’s a really rare quality.”
