Sharon Stone on 2001 brain hemorrhage

When she was struck by a brain hemorrhage in 2001, actress Sharon Stone was considered to have a 5-percent chance of surviving. And even though she did, the 59-year-old “Basic Instinct” actress told “CBS Sunday Morning” she had to relearn “everything” after her life was “wiped out” by the trauma. She disappeared from the public stage, Page Six reports, in part because Hollywood considered her a “broken person.” Stone gets her sweet revenge with Steven Soderbergh’s six-part HBO series “Mosaic,” in which she stars. It will debut Monday.

Cranberries lead singer dies at 46

Dolores O’Riordan, 46, the lead vocalist in the Irish rock band The Cranberries, died suddenly on Monday in London. “No further details are available at this time,” publicist Lindsey Holmes said, noting that the singer’s family was “devastated” by her death. The Cranberries formed in the late 1980s in Limerick, Ireland, and rose to fame over the next 10 years with hits like “Zombie” and “Linger.” Irish President Michael D. Higgins cited O’Riordan’s “immense influence” on rock and pop music in Ireland and abroad. She is survived by a son and two daughters.

Boxing Hall of Famer Mike Tyson, 51, will bring his one-man show, “Mike Tyson: UNDISPUTED TRUTH,” to the MGM Grand Casino on June 24. Director Spike Lee produced the show on Broadway in 2012, and it’s been touring pretty much ever since. Tyson, the youngest boxer to ever win the WBC, WBA and IBF world heavyweight titles, has been all over the entertainment circuit recently, appearing in “The Hangover” movies, as well as in his 2013 docu-series, “Being Mike Tyson.” The animated series, “Mike Tyson Mysteries,” just wrapped up its third season on Adult Swim.

Princess Charlotte in charge

Princess Charlotte, 2, lords it over her big brother who might someday be king, 4-year-old Prince George, according to great-grandmother Queen Elizabeth. Chatting with a 10-year-old school girl at the royal Sandringham estate, the Queen, 91, asked Emily Clay if she “looked after” her little sister, Hadleigh. Her mother, Ellen said, “It’s the other way around.” To which the Queen replied, “It’s like that with Charlotte and George.”
