You may have seen McClary Bros. drinking vinegars on craft cocktail menus at bars and restaurants around Metro Detroit. Next week, the locally-based business will be seen on national television on the season premiere of business realty show “Shark Tank.”

McClary Bros. owner Jess Sanchez McClary will appear on the season premiere of the show at 9 p.m. Sept. 25 to try to convince one or all of the “sharks” to invest in her line of small batch drinking vinegars, which are used to mix into cocktails.

The ABC show, which is starting its seventh season, is based on a Japanese show called Dragons’ Den, and features a panel of millionaire investors who make deals with small business owners to invest in their products or service for a percentage of their company.

For this season’s premiere, the sharks McClary pitched to are show regulars Kevin O’Leary, Robert Herjavec, Mark Cuban and Lori Greiner. They’re joined by guest shark actor Ashton Kutcher.

McClary was selected to appear on the show in April and taped in June. Whether she strikes a deal or not, the television exposure should be good for her brand. Last year 7.45 million viewers tuned into the premiere episode.
