Get ready for more “Detroiters.”

Comedy Central has picked up the Detroit-centric sitcom for a second season, Variety reports. The new episodes will begin airing in 2018.

“Detroiters” is currently in the middle of its first season and follows two small-time ad men played by Sam Richardson and Tim Robinson, both of whom hail from the area. (Richardson is from Detroit and Robinson is from Clarkston, an important geographical distinction the pair made sure to point out during a recent visit to “Late Night With Seth Meyers”).

The show is heavy with local references, with plot lines revolving around Richard “Sexy Specs” Golden’s D.O.C. ad campaigns and spots for Dittrich Furs. Mort Crim is a frequent presence, and the shot-in-Detroit show has a ton of local scene-spotting.

Since debuting on Comedy Central last month, “Detroiters” is averaging 381,000 viewers, decent for a basic cable show. Delayed and digital viewing audiences increase those viewership figures.

With its renewal, “Detroiters” shows more life than other recent Motor City-set TV shows “Detroit 1-8-7” and “Low Winter Sun,” both of which were canceled after their first seasons.
