Detroit police are investigating after three men were shot near an after hours location at about 5 a.m. Sunday morning on the city's east side.
The shooting took place in the area of East Seven Mile and Westphalia, west of Schoenherr. Two of the victims were privately taken to area hospitals, one showing up at the emergency room with a gunshot wound to the head. Because of their condition, the victims were rushed into surgery or CAT scan, according to the Detroit Police Department.
A 35-year-old black man was shot in his left buttock and after being privately taken to the hospital, was listed in temporary serious condition.
A 58-year-old black man was shot three times in his chest. Medics transported him to the hospital. He is listed in extremely critical condition.
The third victim, a 26-year-old man, showed up at a hospital having been shot in the back of the head. He was listed in stable condition.
No suspect description was immediately available.
