Detroit police are searching for a missing teen after he went missing Wednesday.
Deonta Hanes, 14, was last seen by his father Wednesday at about 1 p.m. at their home on the 9200 block of Bishop. Police said Deonta was given permission to go outside to play with his friend, but never returned. Deonta's mother believes that he may be in the area of Radner and Chandler Park, according to police.
Deonta is 5'5", 115 lbs., with short black hair. He was last seen wearing blue jeans, a blue, hooded sweatshirt and blue Nike Shoes.
Police say he is in good physical condition but suffers from emotional and mental health issues and often becomes disoriented.
