Two 22-year-old Detroit men were shot on the city's east side late Saturday night in what police were told was a drug deal done bad, but police have yet to find the scene of the crime.
The shooting took place just before 11:30 p.m., police were told, in the area of Liberal and Rex, which is south of East State Fair and west of Kelly.
The victims told police they'd been shot during a drug deal. Both men shot in the arm and drove themselves to a hospital.
Police are looking for two suspects. The first is described as skinny, standing 5 feet 7 inches to 5 feet 9 inches tall and wearing with braids. The second is described as taller than the first man and wearing a short afro. No weapon was spotted on the second man.
When police returned to where they'd been told the shooting took place, they were unable to find evidence of a shooting.
