Clinton Township police are asking the public for help to find a female motorist who struck a pedestrian about two weeks ago.

Department officials issued a plea for help Monday.

They said the incident happened at about 7 p.m. on Jan. 23 on Partridge Creek Boulevard near Romeo Plank.

The victim, also a woman, was crossing the boulevard when she was struck by a vehicle described as a silver 2009-2011 Chevrolet Impala, police said.

The driver stopped the vehicle and asked the victim if she was OK, according to officials.

Police said the driver then took the victim to the victim's home at an apartment complex on 19 Mile in Clinton Township and dropped her off at the front gate.

The driver is described as a white female in her 30s with brown hair and wearing eyeglasses.

Anyone with information about the incident or the suspect should call Capt. Bruce Wade at (586) 493-7931.
