Brueger, 31, of Holly Township was shot while jogging about 2 p.m. July 30 near 11240 Fish Lake Road. State police said Brueger was shot multiple times. Police said about 2:35 p.m., state police received a 911 call reporting a woman had been shot on a front lawn on Fish Lake Road by an “unknown individual.”

She was a registered nurse at Providence Park Hospital in Novi, her family said.

“Information about suspicious persons or unusual vehicles in the area of Fish Lake Road could be extremely important,” state police said in a news release announcing the increased reward.

“Even if you think your information is unimportant or that someone else may have already reported what you know, please contact investigators,” it continued.

The Federal Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco and Firearms is offering a $5,000 reward. Crime Stoppers also is offering $5,000.
