Deri L. Spillers

Deri L. Spillers, 66, resident of Waterloo, SC, husband of Linda Paulson Spillers, passed away Saturday, October 23, 2021 at Hospice & Palliative Care of the Piedmont.

Born January 20, 1955, in Flint, MI, he was the son of Laura Young Spillers and the late Herman Spillers. He was a 1973 graduate of Lake Fenton High School and graduated from Mott Community College. Deri was a US Navy veteran and retired from running his own company, Rising Edge Controls. He enjoyed fishing, golfing, boating and being an all-around sportsman.

Surviving in addition to his mother and wife, are a sister, Janice (Larry) Hulverson of Millington, MI; two brothers, Dale Spillers of Fenton, MI and Doug (Elaine) Spillers of Alborn, MN; many nieces, nephews and great-nieces and nephews.

In addition to his father, Deri was preceded in death by two brothers, Jeff Spillers and Rod Spillers.

A memorial service will be held at a later date.
