Sharon Marie Wiseman

Sharon grew up on Detroit's East side and graduated from St. Mary's Commercial High School in Greektown. She worked as a stenographer for the IRS for several years, using shorthand her entire life. She attended Macomb Community College and graduated from Michigan State University with a degree in Social Science. She then worked for the City of Detroit as a stenographer until she completed training as a computer programmer, where she met her husband of 43 years. After retirement, Sharon volunteered in Henry Ford Hospice, RSVP (Retired Senior Volunteer Program) and volunteered in tutoring at local elementary schools. She enjoyed bike riding with the Clinton River Rider Bicycle club, membership within L.A. Fitness and cross country skiing. Surviving are Sharon's husband David T. Switney, step-sons, Michael Switney (Mt. Clemens) Matthew Switney (Howell), Sam Switney (grandson), sister JoAnn Krebs (Calif.) and many nieces and nephews.
