Michigan gas prices fall 10 cents in past week to $2.84

Dearborn — AAA Michigan says gas prices statewide have fallen about 10 cents in the past week.

The Dearborn-based auto club says the average price for self-serve regular unleaded gasoline was about $2.84 per gallon on Sunday. That’s about 84 cents less than at the same point a year earlier.

AAA Michigan surveys daily fuel prices at 2,800 gas stations across the state. The lowest average price was about $2.67 per gallon in the Jackson area, while the highest average was about $2.94 in the Traverse City area.
