Sears reports 3Q loss
Hoffman Estates, Ill. — Sears Holdings Corp. on Thursday reported a loss of $454 million in its fiscal third quarter.
The Hoffman Estates, Illinois-based company said it had a loss of $4.26 per share. Losses, adjusted for non-recurring costs, came to $2.86 per share.
The department store operator posted revenue of $5.75 billion in the period.
Sears shares have dropped 38 percent since the beginning of the year. The stock has dropped 40 percent in the last 12 months.
