AAA: Michigan gas drops 3 cents to $1.88 from last week
Dearborn — AAA Michigan says gas prices statewide have dropped 3 cents from the previous week.
The Dearborn-based auto club says the average price for self-serve regular unleaded gasoline is about $1.88. It’s 8 cents less than it was at the same point last year.
The lowest average price was about $1.80 a gallon in Lansing area, and the highest average was about $1.92 in the Traverse City area.
The auto club says the average gas price in all 10 Michigan metropolitan areas remains below $2 for the seventh week in a row.
AAA Michigan surveys daily fuel prices at 2,800 gas stations across the state.
