Zara to open at Somerset in 2017
Spanish fashion retailer Zara will open a 30,000-square-foot store at the Somerset Collection in 2017.
Announced Wednesday, the store will continue a trend for Somerset of popular retailers opening their first Michigan locations in Michigan. Gucci, Louis Vuitton, Burberry, Restoration Hardware, Neiman Marcus and Nordstrom all opened their first stores in the Mitten State at Somerset.
Typically, clothes at Zara are affordable and fashionable. Women’s tops are priced between $25 and $70, on average. Men’s button-down shirts go for around $50, on average.
Men’s jackets range between $80 and $150. Women’s jackets are slightly more expensive, topping out at $320.
The Troy location will carry a full line of men’s, women’s and children’s clothing and accessories.
There are 75 Zara stores in the U.S., and over 2,000 around the world. The company was founded in 1975 in Arteixo, Spain.
The Somerset Collection is celebrating the 20th anniversary of when the mall expanded to 1.4 million square feet between its north and south wings.
