On Small Business Saturday, the mantra is 'buy local' to support community

Royal Oak — On a recent afternoon at Chrome Clothing, co-owner Chris Miller carried boxes of merchandise delivered in time for the holiday shopping season kicking off this weekend.

He plans to offer 15% off clothing and 20% off jewelry to draw shoppers for Small Business Saturday, he said: “We’ll just go with the flow. A lot of people buy gifts that day, too. We do a lot of sports coats for holiday gifts, belts. The jewelry, hopefully I can move some for the holidays.”
