Chelsea — Mopar, the parts and accessories arm of Fiat Chrysler Automobiles, on Friday revealed the 2015 Mopar Dodge Challenger Drag Pak, a vehicle that for the first time comes with a supercharged engine option.

The Mopar Dodge Challenger Drag Pak, unveiled at FCA's proving grounds here during a media event, will be offered with a supercharged 354-cubic-inch Gen III Hemi engine or a naturally aspirated 426 cubic inch Gen III Hemi engine. Both come with automatic transmissions.

"This car is ready to race," said Ross McGinnis, vice president of Mopar sales and product development.

FCA will build 60 of the Dodge Challenger Drag Paks, said Dale Aldo, Mopar motorsports marketing manager. The vehicle was last produced in 2011.

Orders begin through Dodge dealerships July 23. The naturally aspirated 426 version of the Pak is $99,426, with the 354 supercharged race car available for $109,354.

The vehicle's front suspension sports a unique Mopar K-Member and suspension geometry, with double adjustable compression and rebound struts. At the back of the car is a four-link rear suspension with Panhard bar, Strange Engineering 4-inch solid axle with 9-inch aluminum third member, 40-spline gun-drilled axles, shocks with adjustable compression and rebound and an anti-roll bar.

The Drag Pak includes Challenger front and rear fascia trim and a redesigned full roll cage. The inside includes a Mopar gauge pack, lightweight racing seats, a safety net and five-point harness. It's equipped with 15-inch front and rear lightweight wheels displaying the Mopar logo. The supercharged engine option is outfitted in blue decals; the naturally aspirated engine gets them in black.

Additionally, Mopar announced Friday two new Scat Packs for the Dodge Charger or Challenger. Scat Pack 2 and Scat Pack 3 kits will help vehicles with 5-7 liter Hemi engines achieve 56 more horsepower and 75 more horsepower, respectively, helping turn the street-vehicles into track-ready performance cars.

"We continue to deliver on our performance mission by inspiring our owners with extreme personalization and exclusive performance package options," Pietro Gorlier, president and CEO of Mopar brand service, parts and customer care for FCA, said in a statement. "Our kits are engineered together with the same teams that create factory-authorized specifications for our vehicles, providing our customers not only outstanding performance but also peace of mind."

Scat Pack 2 is available for $1,895. Scat Pack 3 sells for $4,495.
