First Order Stormtrooper vehicles are hitting the streets of New York City on Friday to promote “Star Wars: The Force Awakens” and “Force Friday.”

Dodge, Mattel Inc. and Uber Technologies Inc. teamed up to have a fleet of Dodge Chargers decorated like toy Stormtrooper vehicles by Hot Wheels be used by ride-sharing company Uber Friday in the Big Apple.

The eight white cars feature black rims and special decals to resemble Stormtrooper vehicles from the California-based toy manufacturer, which are meant to resemble characters from the upcoming movie.

“Dodge was happy to provide eight Dodge Chargers including SRT 392 vehicles, a Dodge Charger SRT Hellcat and other trim levels, to Mattel and Uber for this special promotion,” the Fiat Chrysler brand said in a statement. “May the Force be With You ‘Star Wars’ and Dodge fans.”

A FCA U.S. spokeswoman said the event is a “one-time promotion” with the Mattel and Uber. The company at this time has no plans to produce the vehicles. It is separate from Fiat Chrysler being a partner of the newest film in the “Star Wars” franchise.

Lucasfilm last month announced it is collaborating with the automaker’s North American-based operations for the launch of “an expansive, historic promotional campaign” for “Star Wars: The Force Awakens.” But no details of the partnership have been released.

Force Friday is Sept. 4. It marks the official debut of “Star Wars: The Force Awakens” products available at retailers nationwide. To promote the day, Lucasfilm held an 18-hour global live toy unboxing event on Wednesday and Thursday in 15 cities and 12 countries.
